User Reviews/Opinion:
- I am an uber/left driver and I hate this app. It crashed on me when it rains heavy. Actually told me to turn on a one way the wrong way. Also I can be on a road that goes east and west. Then I get a ride and it will tAke me right and it goes around the neighbor hood to the same road a nd wants me to turn left which I could have done that to start with. Waists my gas doing this. More and more riders ask why is it going that way ????
- Well yeah. All that excitement and finding out it’s a progressive web app. It’s not bad per si but there’s no need to download this app through the store. You can literally open it up in a browser. It’s ok optimized. Could be better still. And definitely still lacking considering you would need the full Maps app for navigation (and who doesn’t need navigation?)
- It needs Google Chrome?!!! Are you kidding Google? If I’m installing this app is because my phone/tablet is slow to install the standard app. Google Chrome is as heavy as Facebook, Instagram, etc. I am not installing Google Chrome to use this app. Uninstalling and waiting for a better and real go app!
- I was hoping for a simpler, faster version of the full Google Maps app- and I was disappointed. It opened and I was able to scroll around the map fine, maybe even a little faster than the full app. Then to navigate it prompted me to open Google maps. Really?
