Google Text-to-speech powers applications to read the text on your screen aloud. فمثلا, it can be used by:
• Google Play Books to “Read Aloud” your favorite book
• Google Translate to speak translations aloud so you can hear the pronunciation of a word
• TalkBack and accessibility applications for spoken feedback across your device
• … and many other applications in Play Store
To use Google Text-to-speech on your Android device, go to Settings > لغة & Input > Text-to-speech output. Select Google Text-to-speech Engine as your preferred engine.
ملحوظة, on many Android devices, Google Text-to-speech is already turned on, but you can update to the latest version here.

آراء / رأي المستخدم:
- Works ok sometimes but very inconsistent. Samsung’s text to speech is way better. This one only let’s you get a couple of words in before it interrupts you so while using my Bluetooth can’t get the message finished. It’s like the impatiant cow joke. Maybe time for an upgrade Google!!!
- Please check the latest update because now when I’m using Google gboard and when I hit the microphone button I do not get any audio response back telling me that I need to speak. Just a visual. يحرر: I’m an idiot. My MEDIA volume level was down.
- I don’t hate the app… far from it. It’s just a massive tech problem. The shortcut disappeared and I don’t know how to get it back. I’ve searched and searched on the net… nothing. If I try to uninstall, it doesn’t… بدلاً من, in my apps on google it just says update. لذا… can’t use it… can’t uninstall it so… pointless.
- Well I have a Samsung s6 but I cannot locate a microphone any longer no matter where I look .. the settings do not update a microphone. I had one on my s4 and upgraded my phone only to not have one? Disappointing! If anyone can help me? I would appreciate it!
